Here\x27s how to place a voice call using Wi\u002DFi Calling on your Android smartphone.<\/div><\/div>

When turned on, Wi\u002DFi Calling may improve call quality while indoors.<\/div><\/div>

Wi\u002DFi Calling settings don\x27t transfer after switching devices or performing a factory data reset. You need to enable Wi\u002DFi Calling if you want to use it. <\/div><\/li>

HD Calls may automatically hand over to Wi\u002DFi from 4G LTE when a known Wi\u002DFi access point is available and cellular signal is too weak.

Similarly, HD Calls automatically handoff from Wi\u002DFi to 4G LTE when cellular signal is strong.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>

Wi\u002DFi calls always originate in the US, even when you are outside of the US.

Calls to US numbers aren\x27t billed (except for 411 or other premium calls). <\/div><\/li>

Calls to international numbers are billed according to your international long distance plan.
