If you see a \x27Screen overlay detected\x27 error, it\x27s caused by a conflict between a running app and a newly installed app requesting permission to display info on multiple screens (e.g., messengers, alerts, battery status, etc.) <\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Tap
    Apps<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon \x22Menu <\/div><\/span> then tap
    Special access<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. From Special access, tap
    Draw over other apps<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  5. From Draw over other apps, tap any app on the list that was causing errors to turn the permissions off.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  6. From a Home screen, relaunch the app.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  7. Tap the available permissions (e.g., Permit Drawing over other apps, Contacts, etc.) to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span>
