Personalizing the Home screen on your GizmoTablet makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.<\/div><\/div>

From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Touch and hold an app.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Drag the shortcut to the preferred Home screen then release.<\/div><\/span>

For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Add Widgets<\/div><\/h2>

From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Tap

Widgets<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Touch and hold a widget.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Drag the widget to the preferred home screen then release.<\/div><\/span>

For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the desired screen.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>

If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.<\/div><\/span>

Options vary depending upon the type of widget.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Add \/ Remove Folders<\/div><\/h2>

From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g. Email).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g. Gmail) then release.<\/div><\/span>

A folder containing the shortcuts is created (folder name is blank by default).<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

To rename the folder:

Tap a folder.<\/div><\/li>

Tap the current folder name (at the top).<\/div><\/li>

Enter the new name then tap

Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>

To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Remove Apps \/ Widgets<\/div><\/h2>

From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.) until the menu appears then release.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Tap

Remove from Home<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Set Wallpaper<\/div><\/h2>

From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Wallpapers<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27My wallpapers\x27 section, tap
View all<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Perform one of the following: <\/div><\/span>
To use an existing wallpaper image:
Select a wallpaper image from the list.<\/div><\/li>
Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, etc.).<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Set as wallpaper<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To use an image from your gallery:
Tap
From Gallery<\/div><\/span> (the first wallpaper option).
If prompted, review the location information message then tap
Allow<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Locate then select the preferred picture.<\/div><\/li>
Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, etc.).<\/div><\/li>
Tap
