Here\x27s how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your GizmoTablet.<\/div><\/div>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span> on your ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ GizmoTabletâ„¢<\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Connections<\/div><\/span>
Mobile Hotspot and Tethering<\/div><\/span>
Mobile Hotspot<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Menu icon<\/div><\/span> .<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Configure Mobile Hotspot<\/div><\/span>, configure the following then tap
SAVE<\/div><\/span>: <\/div><\/span>
Network name (SSID)<\/div><\/li>
Hide my device<\/div><\/li>
Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)<\/div><\/li>
Password
The new password must be entered on the connecting device.<\/div><\/div>
Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
SAVE<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Show password<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul>
Show advanced options
Under Broadcast channel, tap Use 5 GHz band when available to turn on or off.<\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Dropdown menu icon<\/div><\/span> to select the channel (Auto, 1, 2, 11, etc.).<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul> <\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Save<\/div><\/span>. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Timeout settings<\/div><\/span> then select a preferred option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 mins, etc.).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Allowed devices<\/div><\/span> to restrict which devices are allowed to connect.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Allowed devices only<\/div><\/span> to enable or disable.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To add, tap
Add<\/div><\/span>:<\/div><\/span>
Enter the MAC address and device name then tap
Add<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Repeat steps as necessary. When finished, tap the
