If your GizmoTablet drops data connections due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.<\/div><\/div>

  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Connections<\/div><\/span>
    Mobile networks<\/div><\/span>
    Network mode<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Select the applicable setting:<\/div><\/span>
    • Global<\/div><\/b>: This is the preferred setting for most locations and should only be changed if experiencing service issues.<\/div><\/li>
    • LTE<\/div><\/b>: This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only LTE is needed.<\/div><\/li>
    • UMTS<\/div><\/span>: This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only UMTS is needed.
      The preferred international carrier is automatically selected.<\/div><\/div>
