Here\x27s how to turn permissions for installed apps on your GizmoTablet on or off.<\/div><\/div>
  • Downloaded apps designed for Androidâ„¢<\/span> only ask for permission the first time you use a feature rather than asking for permissions out of context.<\/div><\/li>
  • Turning off certain permissions may result in basic features no longer working as intended.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
    1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    2. Navigate:
      Settings<\/div><\/span> \x22Settings >
      Apps<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    3. Ensure \x27All\x27 is selected (upper\u002Dleft).<\/div><\/span>
      If necessary, tap the
      Dropdown icon \x22Dropdown <\/div><\/span> (upper\u002Dleft) then select
      All<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    4. Locate then select the appropriate app.<\/div><\/span>
      If system apps aren\x27t visible, tap the
      Menu icon<\/div><\/span> \x22Menu (upper\u002Dright) >
      Show system apps<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    5. If available, tap
      Permissions<\/div><\/span> (App settings section).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    6. Select available permissions (e.g., Camera, Contacts, Location, etc.) to turn on \x22Switch or off \x22Switch.<\/div><\/span>
      If prompted, review the message then tap \x27Cancel\x27 or \x27Deny anyway\x27.<\/div><\/div>
