5G MiFi®<\/span> M1000 \u002D Change the Wi\u002DFi Password<\/div><\/h1>

Here\x27s how to change the Wi\u002DFi password used to connect to your 5G MiFi M1000.<\/div><\/div>

This applies to changing the password used to connect to your ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ MiFi via Wi\u002DFi, not the Administration Password which is used to sign in to the device web interface to manage settings (e.g. network name, passwords, etc.).<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>

Access the Admin Web Interface<\/a> (http:\/\/my.jetpack).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click
Sign In<\/div><\/span> (located in the upper\u002Dright) then enter the Admin password.<\/div><\/span>
By default the Wi\u002DFi and Admin passwords are the same.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the Settings section, click the
navigation arrow<\/div><\/span> (lower\u002Dright) to open the Settings page.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click
Wi\u002DFi<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Wi\u002DFi screen, click Primary Network or Guest Network.<\/div><\/span>
Primary and Guest Networks can have different passwords.<\/div><\/div>

Enter the desired Wi\u002DFi password into the \x27Password\x27 field.<\/div><\/span>
Password must be at least 8 characters.<\/div><\/div>
Alternatively, click
Generate New Key<\/div><\/span> to auto\u002Dcreate a new password.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Click
Save Changes<\/div><\/span> (located in the lower\u002Dright).<\/div><\/span>
