5G MiFi M1000 \u002D Turn Network Name (SSID) On \/ Off<\/div><\/h1>
Here\x27s how to display or not display your 5G MiFi M1000 Wi\u002DFi name to other devices.<\/div><\/div>

Your 5G MiFi®<\/span> M1000 has a network name or SSID (Service Set Identifier) assigned to it.<\/div><\/li>
The SSID is typically broadcast by default, but can be turned off for greater security.<\/div><\/li>
When turned off, any device attempting to connect for the first time must know the SSID name and password<\/a> to set up a manual connection to it.
For the easiest connection experience, it\x27s recommended to leave broadcast on.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
Access the Admin Web Interface<\/a>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Settings section, click the
Navigation arrow<\/div><\/span> $\x22Navigation$ (lower\u002Dright) to open the Settings page.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click
Wi\u002DFi<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click the
Primary Network tab<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click
Broadcast primary network name (SSID)<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span>

Hide primary network name (SSID) on the Jetpack screen<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span>
