Here\x27s how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, managed devices etc.) on your motorola edge+.<\/div><\/div>

Open the

Navigate:
Network \x26 internet<\/div><\/span>

Tap the
Use Wi\u002DFi hotspot switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the ²Ñ´Ç²ú¾±±ô±ðÌý±á´Ç³Ù²õ±è´Ç³Ù screen, configure the following as needed:<\/div><\/span>
Hotspot name (SSID)<\/div><\/li>
Hide my device<\/div><\/li>
Security (e.g., None, WPA3\u002DPersonal, WPA2\/WPA3\u002DPersonal, etc.)<\/div><\/li>

The new password must be entered on the connecting device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.<\/div><\/li>
Enter the password then tap
OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Extend compatibility<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off the use of the 2.4 GHz hotspot.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Manage devices<\/div><\/span> to restrict which devices are allowed to connect.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Manage allowed devices<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Allow all devices<\/div><\/span> to enable or disable.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To add, tap
Add allowed device<\/div><\/span>:<\/div><\/span>
Enter the MAC address and device name then tap
OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Repeat steps 1 and 2 as necessary. When finished, tap the
back arrow icon<\/div><\/span> .<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Back icon<\/div><\/span> .<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Device limit<\/div><\/span> then select an option (e.g., 1\u002D10).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
