Google Pixel Phones <\/div><\/span> Download and Activate an eSIM<\/div><\/h1>

With an eSIM, your phone number and plan are installed digitally onto your Pixel phone instead of using a physical SIM card. Downloading an eSIM profile is the first step in getting connected to the ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ network.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

Make sure you are using a ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ\u002Dbranded or unlocked device. Non\u002Dɧ»¢ÊÓƵ (BYOD) Prepaid devices don’t support eSIM activation.<\/div><\/div>

Confirm your eSIM activation is processed and that you have the QR code from your email. Pixel 8 \/ 8 Pro and newer do not require a QR Code.<\/div><\/div>

Ensure your device is running the most current software and that you’re connected to the ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ network or Wi\u002DFi.<\/div><\/div>

If traveling abroad, activate your eSIM prior to your trip, as it requires the ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ coverage<\/a> to complete setup.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Network \x26 Internet<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
SIMs<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
If unavailable, tap the
Add icon<\/div><\/span> next to SIMs.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Set up an eSIM<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Confirm your network screen, choose your provider.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Scan the provided QR code using your Pixel\x27s camera.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Use ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ screen, select
Download<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Wait for the device to display the Downloading ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ screen and allow up to 5 minutes for the device to activate.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Download Finished screen tap
Settings<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the name of the SIM you would like to use (name varies; for example ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ eSIM).<\/div><\/span>
This option is only available when a physical SIM card and a eSIM or two eSIMs are activated.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
±«²õ±ðÌý³§±õ²ÑÌý²õ·É¾±³Ù³¦³ó<\/div><\/span> to turn on.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
