If you use two phone numbers for messaging on your Pixel smartphone, changing the default helps ensure messages always originate from your preferred line.<\/div><\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Messages app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. From the Inbox, tap
    Start chat<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. From the To field, enter a 10\u002Ddigit mobile number or a contact name.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. From the Text message field, tap the
    Numbered Page icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  5. Tap the line you want to use to send the message from (e.g., ɧ»¢ÊÓÆµ eSIM).<\/div><\/span>
    This option is only available when a physical SIM card and an eSIM or two eSIMs are activated.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  6. Enter the message, then tap the
