Removing a Gmail™<\/span> (Google™<\/span>) account from your 2nd\u002Dgeneration Stream TV can be helpful when switching accounts, troubleshooting login or email sync issues, or ensuring your data stays private.<\/div><\/div>

The steps below apply to the 2nd\u002Dgeneration Stream TV which can be identified by the Find My Remote button. If you have the original Stream TV model, refer to Stream TV \u002D Remove Google Account<\/a>. $\x22Find$ <\/div><\/li>
Ensure your Stream TV is up to date<\/a> as the following steps apply to the most recent version.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
If necessary, press the
Home button<\/div><\/span> on your Stream TV remote to wake up your device.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Stream TV Home screen, select the
Settings menu<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

Utilize 5\u002Dway navigation pad on the remote to highlight and the center (OK) button to select.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Android TV settings<\/div><\/span>
Accounts \x26 Sign In<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Select the applicable account.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Select
Remove account<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To confirm, select
OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div>
