These steps guide you through setting up and customizing your DuraSport 5G UW for everyday use.<\/div><\/div>

If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step\u002Dby\u002Dstep instructions<\/a> before activating the new device. <\/div><\/div>
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up ɧ��Ƶ Prepaid Service<\/a>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
Ensure a 5G SIM card is inserted<\/a> into the device prior to powering on.<\/div><\/span>

5G Devices purchased from ɧ��Ƶ include a pre\u002Dinstalled 5G SIM card.<\/div><\/div>
To avoid potential activation \/ service issues, don\x27t insert a 4G SIM card.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
If powered off, press and hold the
Power button<\/div><\/span> until \x27Powered by android\x27 appears then release.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Select the appropriate language then tap
START<\/div><\/span>. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If presented with the \x27Phone Activation\x27 screen, tap
NEXT<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

If prompted, enter the account PIN<\/a> then follow the on\u002Dscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs<\/a> for additional info.)<\/div><\/div>
If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Set Up Wi\u002DFi\x27 screen, select a network then enter the password.<\/div><\/span>

If you choose \x27SKIP\x27, you can add Wi\u002DFi networks<\/a> after setup is complete.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
If you\x27d like to restore your info from an old device, tap
Next<\/div><\/span>. If you\x27d like a fresh start, tap
Don\x27t copy<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

If troubleshooting, don\x27t restore the device until all testing has been completed.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Sign in to your existing Google™<\/span> account or create a new one, then tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

If you choose \x27Skip\x27, you can add your Google account<\/a> after setup is complete.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Who will be using this device\x27 screen, select
I will be using this device<\/div><\/span> then tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

To set up a a supervised Google Account, tap
My child will be using this device<\/div><\/span> and refer to Google For Families Help for assistance.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Google services\x27 screen, tap any of the switches to turn on or off then tap
Accept<\/div><\/span> (may require scrolling to the bottom). <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Protect your phone\x27 screen, select an option:<\/div><\/span>

If you choose \x27Skip\x27, you can set up fingerprint recognition<\/a>, set up Face unlock<\/a> or pattern, PIN, or password<\/a> after setup is complete. <\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
Select the screen lock you want to use.<\/div><\/span>

Selected when a blue dot appears.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Tap

Follow the steps for setup.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Access your Assistant with Hey Google\x27 screen, tap
I agree<\/div><\/span> to set up the Google Assistant on your device.<\/div><\/span>

Tap
Skip<\/div><\/span> to bypass this step.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Access your Assistant without...\x27 screen, tap
I agree<\/div><\/span> to allow the assistant to respond when your phone is locked.<\/div><\/span>

Tap
Skip<\/div><\/span> to bypass this step.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Anything else?\x27 screen, tap any of the options to set up.<\/div><\/span>

Choose
No thanks<\/div><\/span> to continue set up.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27ɧ��Ƶ Services\x27 screen, tap the
switch(es)<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off then tap
ACCEPT<\/div><\/span>. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Review the info from the \x27ɧ��Ƶ Cloud\x27 screen then tap
AGREE<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

If you choose \x27SKIP\x27, you can set up ɧ��Ƶ Cloud<\/a> after setup is complete.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Digital Secure\x27 screen, review the info, tap the
switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off then tap
ACCEPT<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

If you choose \x27SKIP\x27, you can set up Digital Secure (through the app) after setup is complete.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
