Here\x27s how to change advanced settings (e.g., Networks, Manual DNS, etc.) on your Orbic Speed 5G; disabling connection to cellular data can help conserve battery life and reduce data usage or roaming charges, but if accidentally turned off, you may experience network connectivity issues or problems sending and receiving email.<\/div><\/div>

Changing advanced settings on your Orbic®<\/span> Speed 5G™<\/span> may be harmful to the stability, performance, and security of the device. Contact your local IT admin prior to altering any of these settings.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div>

Networks<\/div><\/h2>

Access the Admin Web Interface<\/a>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the top menu, click
Configuration<\/div><\/span>. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Advanced Settings<\/div><\/span>
Networks tab<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click on the
Allow device to connect to the mobile network switch<\/div><\/span> to turn mobile data on or off.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Choose the
Network Mode<\/div><\/span> from the dropdown.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click
Save Changes<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Manual DNS<\/div><\/h2>

Domain Name Server (DNS) settings are automatically assigned by the device. If turning on manual DNS is necessary, contact your local IT administrator for assistance.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>

From the DNS dropdown, select Auto or Manual.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If manual is selected, from the Primary DNS and Secondary DNS fields, enter the appropriate info.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
