Apple Watch <\/div><\/span> Turn the Find My App On \/ Off<\/div><\/h1>

Turning the Find My app on or off gives you control over your location tracking. This is useful for security, privacy, or if you ever need to locate your Apple Watch®<\/span> if it\x27s lost.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

If you are unable to access the watch or Apple®<\/span> iPhone®<\/span> or it is unresponsive, the Find My app can be disabled online via iCloud®<\/span><\/a>.<\/div><\/div>

To disable the Find My app, your iPhone must have a valid connection to either a Cellular Data or Wi\u002DFi network. Without a connection, the Find My app is disabled on the device but not from Apple\x27s servers.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
Turn Find My Watch On:
Pair your Apple Watch to your iPhone via Number Share (Set Up for Myself)<\/a> or Standalone Mode (Apple Watch For Your Kids)<\/a>.<\/div><\/li>
Turn Find My iPhone On<\/a> from your iPhone.
This automatically enables the Find My Watch setting on your Apple Watch.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Turn \x27Find My Watch\x27 Off:
Unpair the Apple Watch<\/a> from the iPhone or disable the Find My iPhone setting<\/a> on the iPhone.
