Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile is a 90-day free trial for Fios customers. The trial gives you up to 90 days of ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile domestic service for your smartphone.

There's no:

• Annual contracts, charges or obligation to purchase.
• Commitment or credit check.

During the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile free trial:

• You must have a smartphone with an available eSIM that we can use to activate your temporary ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile line.
• We'll give you a temporary, second mobile phone number to use for 90 days with the available eSiM on your smartphone:
  • The temporary number gives you talk, text and data on the ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ network.
• Your current carrier service and Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile number both stay active on your phone during the trial.
  • If you don't already have active service on your smartphone, the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile temporary number can be the only number on your smartphone.
• You can't take this temporary number to another carrier during the trial.
• You can subscribe to ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile at any time or simply let the trial end. No obligation to purchase, no commitment, no charges.
• When you have Fios Home Internet and add an eligible ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile plan during or after the trial, you can get a discount on your mobile bill.

Here's the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile free trial eligibility requirements:

• Your smartphone:
  • Must have a smartphone with an available eSIM on which we activate the temporary ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile line.
  • Must be dual-number capable. This only applies if the phone you're using for the trial has service with another provider.
  • Can't be locked with another carrier. If locked, contact your carrier to unlock.
• Account eligibility:
  • You must have a ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Fios account.
  • You can't currently be a ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile, Visible or TracFone customer.
  • Your primary place of use must be in a Fios-served state*: CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA.
  • You must use your Fios account information to set up a mobile account for this trial.
  • You must use your Fios account login for My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ to set up online access to your mobile account.
  • You haven't had any ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile services in the last 6 months.

To check your eligibility for the trial, download the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app and follow the prompts.

Good to know: Fios business accounts, ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ employees/retirees, and current ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile customers aren’t eligible for the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile free trial. Customers who installed Fios service 30 days or less prior to the launch of Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile are not eligible for the free trial.

*Once in the trial, if your primary place of use changes to a non-Fios state, the trial ends.

If you're eligible to participate in the trial, you can have 1 trial line per Fios account.

Yes, the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile 90-day free trial of ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ domestic mobile service is free with no contracts, charges or obligation to purchase. No commitment or credit check is required.

The Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile 90-day free trial gives you up to 90 days of ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ domestic mobile service for your smartphone, free of charge, including:

• Unlimited talk, text and Mobile Hotspot.
• Unlimited 4G LTE /5G premium data* on ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ's premium network.
• 480p streaming with 4G LTE / 5G; 720p streaming with 5G Ultra Wideband.**

Good to know: International services and add-on features aren't included. You'll have domestic calling, texting and roaming during the trial.

*5G service requires a 5G-compatible device in the 5G coverage area.
**Unlimited data is restricted to on-device smartphone usage. After exceeding 30 GB/mo of 5G Ultra Wideband, 5G, or 4G LTE mobile hotspot data, mobile hotspot data reduced to speeds up to 3 Mbps when on 5G Ultra Wideband and 600 Kbps when on 5G / 4G LTE for each month of your trial period. Premium Video Streaming available on capable smartphones inside the 5G Ultra Wideband coverage area, 5G and 4G LTE coverage areas (must be added to plan by customer in My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ online, the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app or by calling customer service; otherwise user will receive 720p HD Video Streaming inside the 5G Ultra Wideband coverage area and 480p SD Video Streaming inside the 5G and 4G LTE coverage areas).

Yes, you can access our 5G network during the ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile 90-day free trial if both:

• Your smartphone is compatible with ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ's 5G network.
• You're in an area with 5G coverage.

Otherwise, your smartphone uses our 4G LTE network.

You can sign up for the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile 90-day free trial in the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app. Download the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app to start the trial. You can also start the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile trial from an email or text link we send to you.

If you already have the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app:

1. Sign into the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app.
2. Tap Start Free Trial.
3. Select Continue. The app determines if you’re eligible for the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile free trial.
4. Enter your current service address. Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile plan details appear.
5. Create a mobile account PIN and agree to the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile Terms and Conditions.

You'll be prompted to activate your eSIM. This may take a few minutes.

If you don’t already have the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app:

If you've received a link to sign up through email or text:

1. Select the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Trial link in your email or text link. Open the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app.
2. Open the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app.
3. Select Continue. The app determines if you’re eligible for the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile free trial.
4. Enter your current service address. Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile plan details appear.
5. Create a mobile account PIN and agree to the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile Terms and Conditions.

You'll be prompted to activate your eSIM. This may take a few minutes.

Once the activation is complete:

1. A "Cellular Setup Complete confirmation" displays on your phone screen.
2. Select your primary/secondary plan labels and choose the default carrier for your calls, messaging and data.
   1. If your device is on another carrier's network, it'll have 2 numbers during the trial.
   2. See the recommendations below when setting your default line and carrier.

Tips for the best experience:

• Default line - Keep your current carrier as the primary (default), so your contacts continue to call your primary line.
• Apple iPhone users - Keep your current carrier as primary so it’s the default for contacts for iMessage and FaceTime.
• Cellular data - Make ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ the default carrier to connect to the internet. This will provide data coverage in the event your original carrier has any service issues.

Once you've labeled the lines, you can customize them by going to:

• iPhone - Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular plans (iOS)
• Androidâ„¢ - Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager (Android)

You get an enrollment confirmation when setup is done. You'll have the option to view the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile dashboard with the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app or the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ website.

Yes. If you've already got an active phone number from another carrier on your mobile phone, you keep it during the 90-day free trial for Fios customers:

• For the trial, we give you a temporary mobile number with ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile data, talk and text service.
• You can use the temporary number for up to 90 days.
• You can purchase ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile service at the end of the trial or before it ends.
• If you would like to keep your existing number from your other carrier, you can port your number in.

We give you a temporary mobile phone number for the Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile trial. If you have service with another phone carrier, you'll have 2 active mobile numbers during the 90-day free trial.

The Discover ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ Mobile temporary number can be the only number on your smartphone if you don’t already have active service on your eligible device.

We'll prompt you to:

• Label your current phone number as your primary number.
• Label the temporary ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ number as your secondary number.

Use the ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ number for your cellular data service to test our network's speed and coverage. To switch which number you want to use:

• iPhone - Go to iPhone Settings > Cellular > Cellular Plans
• Android - Go to Android Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager

ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile service automatically ends either:

• After the last day of the 90-day free trial.
• When you sign up for one of our paid service plans.

You can sign up for an Unlimited mobile phone plan anytime:

• You can earn a monthly discount when you have Fios and ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ standard monthly mobile service.
• You can bring your existing phone number from another carrier or start a new line of service with a new mobile number.

Good to know: We reserve the trial number for you for 14 days after the trial ends. If you wait longer to become a ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ mobile subscriber, the number you had for the trial won't be available.

You can join ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ during or after your 90-day free trial. Get started however it's easiest for you:

• Sign up for one of our Unlimited plans online.
• Use the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ app to choose a mobile plan.
• Contact us if you need help signing up.
