Edit \/ Remove a User Account \u002D LG G Pad X8.3<\/div><\/h1>
If your LG G Padâ„¢<\/span> X8.3 has multiple profiles set up to accommodate more than one user, follow these steps if you need to remove an account or update its settings.<\/div><\/div>

Edit a Full Access User Account<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Tap
    Users<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. From the Profiles section, tap the account name.<\/div><\/span>
    To edit a different account than the one you are currently signed into, follow the steps below to switch to the account:<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
    1. From the Profiles section, tap the account name. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    2. Navigate:
      Settings<\/div><\/span>
      Users<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    3. Select the applicable user name from the \x27Users and profiles\x27 section then tap
      YES<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
      The device signs out of the current user account and into the selected account.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div><\/li>
    4. Edit the name.<\/div><\/span>
      To add a profile image, tap the icon located to the left of the name field then complete the remaining steps to take or select a picture.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    5. Tap
      OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

      Edit a Restricted Access User Account<\/div><\/h2>
      Restricted access accounts can only be edited by the Owner account (the first account used to access the device).<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
      1. Open the
        Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      2. Tap
        Users<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      3. Ensure you\x27re signed into the Owner account. <\/div><\/span>
        If necessary, navigate:
        Settings<\/div><\/span>
        Users<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span> (Device section) then select the Owner account.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
      4. If necessary, navigate back to the Users screen then tap the
        Gear icon<\/div><\/span> \x22.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      5. From the \x27Select apps and content\x27 section, configure the restrictions as desired. <\/div><\/span>
        Turn on to allow access to an app or turn off to restrict access.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

        Remove a User Account<\/div><\/h2>
        Only the Owner profile (the first account used to sign in and access the device) can remove an account.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
        1. Open the
          Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        2. Tap
          Users<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        3. From the Profiles section, tap the
          Trashcan icon<\/div><\/span> to the right of the corresponding user.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        4. Review the disclaimer then select
          YES<\/div><\/span> to confirm. <\/div><\/span>
