Here\x27s how to ensure your Gmail, contacts, apps, etc. are backed up on your G Pad X8.3.<\/div><\/div>

Open the

Navigate:

Backup \x26 reset<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Google backup section, tap
Back up my data<\/div><\/span>. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Back up my data switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Back icon<\/div><\/span> to return to the previous screen <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To change the backup account, tap
Backup account<\/div><\/span> then tap the preferred Google®<\/span> (Gmail®<\/span>) account.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Automatic restore<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off. <\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div>
Backups can\x27t be restored from a higher Android version onto a device with a lower Android version.<\/div><\/li>
When a Google account is added to your device, previous backups are restored.
