Configure Email Services \u002D Apple®<\/span> Mail<\/div><\/h1>

Here\x27s how to configure your email services for Apple Mail.<\/div><\/div>

Server addresses, security information and additional support can be obtained from the email provider.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>

From the desktop, navigate:
Finder<\/div><\/span>
Applications<\/div><\/span>
Mail<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Menu bar, click:
Mail<\/div><\/span> >
Preferences<\/div><\/span>.

From the Accounts tab, click
Account Information<\/div><\/span>, ensure the settings are correct then click
Server Settings<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
Mac®<\/span> OS 10.5 and later, click
Outgoing Mail Server<\/div><\/span>
Edit Server List<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div>
Description
A unique name for the account.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Email Address
The email address for the account.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Incoming Mail Server
The POP \/ IMAP server address.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
User Name
The email account login name.
Usernames may vary depending on ISP (e.g. \u002D john.smith@your.isp or jsmith).<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Password
The password required for account access.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Outgoing Mail Server
The outgoing mail server for the email account.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul>

Enter the Description and Server Name then click
Advanced<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
If using Mac OS 10.4 or 10.3 skip to step 5.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Ensure the required settings are correct then click

From the Advanced section, ensure the required settings are correct then click the
