One Talk <\/div><\/span> Call a Number<\/div><\/h1>
Follow these instructions to make a phone call from your One Talk device, whether you\x27re using a desk phone, a mobile phone or the One Talk mobile app.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
Refer to this list of One Talk Supported Devices<\/a>.<\/div><\/div>
For billing purposes, Wi\u002DFi calls always originate in the US, even when you\x27re outside of the US.<\/div><\/div>
Wi\u002DFi calls to US numbers are not billed (except for 411 or other premium calls).<\/div><\/div>
Wi\u002DFi calls to international numbers are billed according to your international long distance plan.<\/div><\/div>
N11 calls including 211, 311, 411, 511 and 811 are not supported in call\u002Dthrough mode. In these cases, the phone\x27s native dialer should be used.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Call from Desk Phone<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Enter the desired 10\u002Ddigit number then press
    Send<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
    Do not prefix the dialed number with a 9 as is currently required with a traditional PBX (Private Branch Exchange) system. If a 9 is accidentally added, the call fails and the caller receives an error recording.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

    Call from Mobile App \/ Enhanced Dialer (App Calling)<\/div><\/h2>
    1. Open the
      One Talk app<\/div><\/span> or
      Enhanced Dialer<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    2. Tap the
      Call button<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    3. From the Keypad tab, enter the desired 10\u002Ddigit number then tap the
      Call icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

      Call from Mobile App \u002D Call\u002DThrough Mode<\/div><\/h2>
      1. Open the
        One Talk app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      2. Tap the
        Call button<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      3. From the Keypad tab, enter the desired 10\u002Ddigit number then tap the
        Call icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      4. Tap
        Call (###) ###\u002D####<\/div><\/span> within 10 seconds of the prompt appearing in order to connect the call.<\/div><\/span>
        The number on the confirmation prompt doesn\x27t replace the party you\x27re trying to dial, but rather is an interim number used to help route the call. The called party will see your One Talk number and not the mobile number of the phone from which you\x27re calling.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
      5. If necessary, return to the One Talk app during the call to perform call management functions.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

        1. Tap
          Keypad<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        2. Enter the appropriate number then tap

          1. Open the
