Keeping contacts updated on your Apple®<\/span> iPhone®<\/span> ensures you have accurate info when needed, whether adding a new number, updating details or removing old entries.<\/div><\/div>

Add \/ Edit a Contact<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Contacts app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • To add a contact, tap the
      Plus icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
    • To edit an existing contact, select the desired contact then tap
      Edit<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
    • Enter or edit any of the info fields (e.g., Name, Phone, Email, etc.) then tap the
      Checkmark icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
      To add a pause (a 2\u002Dsecond delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      +*#<\/div><\/span> then tap Pause or Wait.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

      Delete a Contact<\/div><\/h2>
      1. Open the
        Contacts app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      2. Select the desired contact then tap
        Edit<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      3. Tap
        Delete Contact<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      4. To confirm, tap
