Place a FaceTime Call<\/div><\/h2>

Open the

FaceTime app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Tap the

New Call<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>

Enter the name, email address or number then tap

Search<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>

To access contacts, tap the

Plus icon<\/div><\/span> then select the desired contact.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>

To use Group FaceTime on iPhone 6s or newer, repeat step 3 to add multiple contacts to the list.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Select the FaceTime call option:<\/div><\/span>

To place an audio call, tap the

Phone icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>

To place a video call, tap

FaceTime<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Accept a Request<\/div><\/h2>

When receiving a FaceTime request, perform one of the following actions:<\/div><\/span>
When the phone is locked, tap the
Phone icon<\/div><\/span> then slide to answer.<\/div><\/li>
When the phone is unlocked, tap
Accept<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
To end the FaceTime session, tap
End<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>
