Need to update your Motorola device? Learn how to install the Upgrade Assistant on your PC or Mac to easily manage your software updates.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

Ensure the following system requirements are ment before installation of the Software Upgrade Assistant (SAU):
Windows®<\/span> 7 and later or Mac OS 10.6 and later versions.<\/div><\/li>
Up to 5GB of available computer storage (to store the Update File), USB cable and Internet connection.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div>
The most recent phone software is available on the SUA\/SRA tool a week after a new software update. During this time, the SUA\/SRA is unavailable.<\/div><\/div>
If the update fails to install, refer to the Software Upgrade Assistant \u002D Motorla Software Update <\/a> for assistance.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Windows<\/div><\/h2>
Turn your phone on, unlock it and connect it to your PC using a USB cable. An AutoPlay pop\u002Dup should open automatically on the computer.<\/div><\/span>

Once connected, if available, ensure the CD\u002DROM feature is enabled on the device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
From the device, swipe down on the status bar (located at the top).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the USB connection entry.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Software Installation mode<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div><\/li>
From the AutoPlay pop up window, click
Install ɧ��Ƶ Software Upgrade Assistant for Motorola<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

If the AutoPlay pop up window is not available, open Windows Explorer then click
CD Drive Installer<\/div><\/span> and double\u002Dclick the
setup.exe<\/div><\/span> file to launch.<\/div><\/div>
Once the download process is complete, the Assistant checks for software updates.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Click
Yes<\/div><\/span> to download and install the Software Upgrade Assistant.

On the Welcome screen, click
Next<\/div><\/span>

To continue, review Terms and Conditions, click
I accept the agreement<\/div><\/span> then click
Next<\/div><\/span>.

On the Select Destination Location screen, select the desired location or leave it as is and then click
Next<\/div><\/span>.

On the Select Additional Tasks screen, click the Create a desktop shortcut checkbox if desired, then click

On the Ready to Install screen, click

When the installation process is complete, click the \x22Launch Software Upgrade Assistant\x22 checkbox then click

Review the Terms and Conditions then click

On the Installation Type screen, click

If a password is setup on the computer, enter the password then click
Install Software<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
When the installation process is complete, click
