Here\x27s how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy A50.<\/div><\/div>
Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., pattern, PIN or password) is set up<\/a>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From a Home screen, navigate:

Biometrics and security<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Fingerprints<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Perform one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
First Time Setup
Follow the on\u002Dscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint. Repeat as necessary until the process is complete.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Done <\/div><\/span>(lower\u002Dright).<\/div><\/li>
Tap the
Fingerprint unlock switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on $\x22Switch$ or off $\x22Switch$ .<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Add More Fingerprints
Tap
Add fingerprint<\/div><\/span>.

Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Follow the on\u002Dscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint.<\/div><\/li>
When finished, tap \x27Done\x27 if or \x27Add\x27 to continue adding fingerprints.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Remove Fingerprint(s)
Touch and hold the fingerprint to remove.

To remove all, fingerprints, tap
All<\/div><\/span> (upper\u002Dleft). <\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Remove <\/div><\/span> (upper\u002Dright).<\/div><\/li>
