Software Upgrade Assistant <\/div><\/span> Initial Setup for Orbic<\/div><\/h1>
Need to update your Orbic device? Learn how to install the Upgrade Assistant on your PC or Mac to easily manage your software updates.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
Ensure the following system requirements are ment before installation of the Software Upgrade Assistant (SAU):
  • Windows®<\/span> 7 and later or Mac OS 10.6 and later versions.<\/div><\/li>
  • Up to 5GB of available computer storage (to store the Update File), USB cable and Internet connection.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div>
    The most recent software version becomes available on the SUA\/SRA tool within a week of a new software update. During this time, the SUA\/SRA is unavailable for usage.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

    Windows<\/div><\/h2>
    1. Ensure the wireless device is powered on and unlocked then connect it to a compatible computer using a USB cable. When tethered, an AutoPlay pop\u002Dup opens automatically on the computer.<\/div><\/span>
      Once connected, ensure the CD\u002DROM feature is enabled on the device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    2. From the AutoPlay pop up window, click
      Setup.exe<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
      If the AutoPlay pop up window is not available, open Windows Explorer then click
      CD Drive Installer<\/div><\/span> and double\u002Dclick
      ɧ»¢ÊÓÆµWirelessUpgradeAssistantSetup.exe<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div>
      Once the download process is complete, the Assistant checks for software updates.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    3. From the ɧ»¢ÊÓÆµÂ Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant Installer screen, select
      OK<\/div><\/span> to continue.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    4. From the Welcome screen, click
      Next<\/div><\/span> to continue.<\/div><\/span>
      The Software Upgrade Assistant downloads and installs 3 packages.<\/div><\/div>
      Once the installation is complete, click
      Finish<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    5. Click the
      Open ɧ»¢ÊÓÆµÂ Software Assistant<\/div><\/span> checkbox to open the SUA then continue with the software upgrade.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

      Macintosh<\/div><\/h2>
      1. Ensure the wireless device is powered on and unlocked (if device lock\u002Denabled) then connect it to a compatible computer using a USB cable.<\/div><\/span>
        Once connected, ensure the CD\u002DROM feature is enabled on the device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
        1. From the device, swipe down on the status bar.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        2. Tap the USB connection entry.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        3. Tap
          Software Installation mode<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div><\/li>
        4. From the CD\u002DROM pop\u002Dup, double\u002Dclick
          setup.dmg<\/div><\/span>, then drag the SUA icon to the Application folder.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        5. Double\u002Dclick the Software Upgrade Assistant app.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        6. On the Welcome screen, click
          Next<\/div><\/span> to install the Software Upgrade Assistant.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        7. When theprocess is complete, click
          Finish<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
