A failed software update can leave your phone unusable. Follow these simple steps to repair your Orbic\x27s software using the Software Upgrade Repair Assistant.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
The Software Repair process is identical for Windows and Macintosh.<\/div><\/div>
The Software Upgrade Assistant (SUA) must be installed on a compatible computer<\/a>.<\/div><\/div>
Ensure yours device is powered on and able to be unlocked if necessary then connect it to a computer using the supplied USB cable.<\/div><\/div>
If the device is not recognized immediately, pull down the notification panel to switch the device mode from \x22Charge Only\x22 to \x22Software Installation\x22 mode.<\/div><\/div>
The repair process may take up to 45\u002D90 minutes. Do not disconnect the device from the computer during the repair process.<\/div><\/div>
The most recent software version becomes available on the SUA\/SRA tool within a week of a new software update. During this time, the SUA\/SRA is unavailable for usage. <\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. From the device, press the
    Down key<\/div><\/span>, then select the
    USB connection entry<\/div><\/span>, followed by selecting
    Firmware update mode<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. If the update fails to install or the device is up\u002Dto\u002Ddate, click the
    Start button<\/div><\/span> from the Software repair screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. On the Google Account Info Needed screen, click the
    I know my Google account info<\/div><\/span> checkbox then click
    Next<\/div><\/span> to begin the repair.<\/div><\/span>
    If the Google account info is unknown, click the
    Click to learn what to do<\/div><\/span> link and follow the instructions to remove the Google account from the device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  4. From the \x27Now, It\x27s Your Turn...\x27 screen, unplug your device, complete the Setup Wizard, then plug the device back into the computer and click
    Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
    This restores the content to your device, which may take up to 10\u002D15 minutes to complete.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  5. When the restoration process is complete, click
