Set up fingerprint recognition on your moto g stylus for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., pattern, PIN, etc.)<\/a> is set up.<\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Security<\/div><\/span>
    Fingerprint<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • For first\u002Dtime setup:
      1. From the Unlock with your fingerprint screen, tap
        Set up<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor<\/div><\/span> until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete.<\/div><\/li>
      3. Tap
        Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
      4. To add more fingerprints:
        1. Tap
          Add fingerprint<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
        2. Place your finger on the
          sensor<\/div><\/span> until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete.<\/div><\/li>
        3. Tap
          Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
        4. To remove fingerprint(s):
          1. Tap the
            Trash icon<\/div><\/span> to the right of the fingerprint you want to remove then tap
            Delete<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
          2. If presented with \x27Remove all fingerprints?\x27, tap
