Adding a Google (Gmail) account to your 2nd\u002Dgeneration Stream TV lets you download apps and services.<\/div><\/div>

The steps below apply to the 2nd generation Stream TV which can be identified by the Find My Remote button. If you have the original Stream TV model, refer to Stream TV \u002D Add an Existing Google Account<\/a>.

Ensure your Stream TV is up to date<\/a> as the following steps apply to the most recent version. <\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
If necessary, press the
Home button<\/div><\/span> $\x22Home$ on your Stream TV remote to wake up your device.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Stream TV Home screen, select the
Settings menu<\/div><\/span> $\x22Settings$ (upper\u002Dright).<\/div><\/span>

Use 5\u002Dway navigation pad on the remote to highlight and the center (OK) button to select.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Android TV settings<\/div><\/span>
Accounts \x26 Sign In<\/div><\/span>
Add account<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If prompted, from the \x27Choose account type\x27 screen select
Google<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Make the most of your TV\x27 screen, select
Sign In<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Enter your Google account email address or phone number then select the
Enter icon<\/div><\/span> $\x22Enter$ .<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Enter your Google account password then select the
Enter icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div>
