Stream TV Soundbar \u002D Set Up Device<\/div><\/h1>

Here\x27s how to set up your Stream TV Soundbar via a wireless connection.<\/div><\/div>

Before you start, confirm you have:

a Wi\u002DFi connection.<\/div><\/li>
a Googleâ„¢<\/span> (Gmailâ„¢<\/span>) account.
If you don\x27t already have a Google account or have trouble logging in, visit this Google site<\/a> for help.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
Connect the HDMI cable from your soundbar to your TV.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Connect the power cord from your soundbar to an electrical outlet.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Turn on your TV then set it to the correct HDMI input.<\/div><\/span>
Refer to the TV manufacturer for help.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Pair your Stream TV Voice Remote<\/a>.<\/div><\/span>
If your Stream TV Voice Remote is not available, the device must be set up using a wired connection<\/a> and the Remote Control app<\/a>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
If prompted, select
Begin<\/div><\/span> to set up your remote to control the volume on your TV then follow the on\u002Dscreen prompts.<\/div><\/span>
Utilize the 5\u002Dway navigation pad on the remote to highlight and the center (OK) button to select.<\/div><\/div>
To skip, press the
Back button<\/div><\/span>  on the remote twice.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Quickly set up your TV with your Android phone?\x27 screen, select an option:<\/div><\/span>
To use your Android phone to set up your Wi\u002DFi and Google account:
Select
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
On your Android Phone, open the pre\u002Dinstalled Google app.<\/div><\/li>
Type or say, \x22Ok Google set up my device\x22.<\/div><\/li>
If prompted, tap
Next<\/div><\/span> from the \x27Getting started\x27 screen.<\/div><\/li>
If prompted, tap
Stream TV Soundbar<\/div><\/span> on the list<\/div><\/li>
Verify the code displayed on your TV matches the code on your phone then tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Tap the Wi\u002DFi network your Android phone is connected to.<\/div><\/li>
Tap the Google account you wish to add to your Stream TV device.<\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Copy to your new device?\x27 screen, tap \x27Copy\x27 or \x27Cancel\x27.<\/div><\/li>
If prompted, verify your identity (pin, password, etc...).<\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Almost done!\x27 screen, tap
Close<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To setup manually using your remote:
Select
Skip<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Select your Wi\u002DFi network\x27 screen, select the desired Wi\u002DFi network.<\/div><\/li>
Enter the Wi\u002DFi password and select then select the
Enter icon<\/div><\/span> .<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
If necessary, wait for your Stream TV to install system updates.<\/div><\/span>
This takes a few minutes and your device will restart multiple times.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
If prompted, select
OK<\/div><\/span> from the \x27A remote control software update is available\x27 screen.<\/div><\/span>
Firmware update may take a few minutes. If prompted, select
OK<\/div><\/span> from the \x27Your remote control software is up to date\x27 screen.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Sign in to your ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ account\x27 screen, do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
If you select \x27No account\x27 or \x27Skip\x27, you can sign in to your ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ account<\/a> at a later time.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
Sign in using your phone or computer
If you\x27re connected to a Wi\u002DFi network that features host isolation (e.g., guest networks, etc.) sign in using your remote.<\/div><\/div>
Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi\u002DFi network as your Stream TV.<\/div><\/li>
On the phone or computer, open a web browser and go to https:\/\/stream.verizon.com\/activate.
If using a smartphone, scan the QR code shown on the TV screen with a QR code reader.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Enter the code shown on your TV screen on the website where prompted.<\/div><\/li>
If prompted, enter your My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ User ID or mobile number and Password, then select
³§±õ³Ò±·Ìý±õ±·<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Sign in using your remote
Select
Use remote instead<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Enter your My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ User ID or mobile number then select the
Enter icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Enter your My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ password then select the

If prompted, enter the answer to your secret question then select
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To continue, review the Terms of service, End user license agreement, and Privacy policy then select
Accept all<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Name your device\x27 screen, select the desired name then select
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
Name selected when circle to the right is white.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Review the \x27Get more from your Stream TV with Google\x27 screen select

From the \x27Make the most of your TV\x27 screen select
Sign In<\/div><\/span> then do the following:<\/div><\/span>
If you select \x27Skip\x27, you can add a Google account<\/a> at a later time.<\/div><\/div>
If you used your phone on step 6 and already selected a Google account, skip to step 15.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>
Enter your Google account email address then select the

Enter your Google account password then select the

If Google account sign in was skipped, select
Use Assistant without sign in<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Search across all your TV apps\x27 screen, select \x27Allow\x27 or \x27No thanks\x27.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Get personal results\x27 screen, select \x27Turn on\x27 or \x27No thanks\x27.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Get the most out of your Google Assistant screen, select \x27Yes\x27 or \x27No\x27.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the \x27Install additional apps\x27 screen, select (check) any desired apps then select
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
Select \x27Install all of the following apps\x27 to select all the apps on the Recommended list.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Press the
Center (OK) button<\/div><\/span> to view each of the \x27Features of your device\x27 screens and to exit set up.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div>
