With automatic backups, app settings and personal data on your Galaxy S21 FE 5G are saved to your Googleâ„¢<\/span> account, making it easy to restore everything after a reset.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
When a Google account is added to your phone, previous backups are restored. This can be done by adding an existing Google account<\/a> to your already active phone or by signing in to the same Google account while setting up your new or reset phone<\/a>.<\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup<\/div><\/span>
    Back up data<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Do any of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • To turn photo and video backup on \/ off:
      1. Tap
        Photos \x26 videos<\/div><\/span> from the Backup details section.<\/div><\/li>
      2. Tap the
        Backup switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/li>
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow icon<\/div><\/span> in the top left view to backed up photos and videos.<\/div><\/li>
      4. To change the back up account, tap the
        Account icon<\/div><\/span> in the top right then tap
        Switch account<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      5. Tap one of the following:
        • Use Photos without an account<\/div><\/li>
        • Add another account<\/div><\/li>
        • Manage account on this device<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
        • To turn all backups on \/ off:
          1. Tap
            Other device data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
          2. Tap the
            Back up other device data switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on \/ off.<\/div><\/li>
          3. If turning off, tap
            Delete \x26 turn off<\/div><\/span> to confirm.
            If turned off, existing backups are deleted from Google\x27s servers.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
          4. To change the back up account, tap the
