Use facial recognition on your Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
If synced to a corporate Exchange account, the availability of this option depends on the policies of your IT admin.<\/div><\/div>
Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., pattern, PIN or password) is set up<\/a>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    ³§±ð³Ù³Ù¾±²Ô²µ²õÌý²¹±è±è<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Security and privacy<\/div><\/span>
    Screen lock and biometrics<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Tap
    Face recognition<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  5. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • For first\u002Dtime setup:
      1. From the Face recognition prompt, review the info then tap
        Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      2. Review the Face registration help then tap
        Register<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      3. Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete.<\/div><\/li>
      4. Tap any of the switches to turn on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Stay on Lock screen until swipe, etc.).<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
      5. To add another recognized face:
        1. Tap
          Add alternative appearance to enhance recognition<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
        2. While holding the phone 8\u002D20 inches away, position your face within the square displayed on the screen.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
        3. To remove face data:
          1. Tap
            Remove face data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
          2. Read the disclaimer then tap
