Orbic Speed 5G \u002D Turn SSID Broadcast On \/ Off<\/div><\/h1>
Here\x27s how to display or not display the Wi\u002DFi name of your Orbic Speed 5G to other devices.<\/div><\/div>

Your Orbic®<\/span> Speed 5G™<\/span> has a network name or SSID (Service Set Identifier) assigned to it.<\/div><\/li>
The SSID is typically broadcast by default, but can be turned off for greater security.<\/div><\/li>
When turned off, any device attempting to connect for the first time must know the network (SSID) name and password<\/a> to set up a manual connection to it.
For the easiest connection experience, it\x27s recommended to leave broadcast on.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section>
Access the Admin Web Interface<\/a>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the top menu, click
Configuration<\/div><\/span>.

From the left menu, navigate:

Primary Network tab<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Click
Broadcast primary network name (SSID)<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span>

On (broadcasting) when a checkmark is present.<\/div><\/div>
You can also hide the guest network name (from the Guest Network tab).<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
