Your moto g stylus 5G lets you combine or separate multiple contacts that were saved with different details or appear as duplicates.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™<\/span>, Microsoft®<\/span> Exchange, Facebook®<\/span>, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.<\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Open the
Contacts app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
3\u002Ddot Menu icon<\/div><\/span> then do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
To link a contact:
Tap
Link<\/div><\/span>.
If a link has previously been created, tap
View linked contacts<\/div><\/span> then select
Add<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Tap the contact to link then swipe the
screen<\/div><\/span> from the left edge to the right to return to the previous page.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To unlink a contact:
Tap
View linked contacts<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Unlink<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
From the unlink contact prompt, tap
Unlink<\/div><\/span> to confirm.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div>
