Real\u002Dtime text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written, without waiting or the need for an additional device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div>

Enable \/ Disable RTT<\/div><\/h2>

From a Home screen, tap the

Phone icon<\/div><\/span> (lower\u002Dleft).<\/div><\/span>

If unavailable, swipe up to display all apps then tap

Phone<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>

Tap the

Menu icon<\/div><\/span> (upper\u002Dright) then tap

Settings<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Tap

Accessibility<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>

Tap

Real\u002Dtime text (RTT) call<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off .<\/div><\/span>

When RTT is enabled on both devices no audio is heard on the call. If you aren\x27t hearing audio make sure RTT is turned off.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Make a Call with RTT<\/div><\/h2>

From a Home screen, tap the
Phone icon<\/div><\/span> (lower\u002Dleft) then make a call.<\/div><\/span>
If unavailable, swipe up to display all apps then tap
Phone<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Once the call connects, tap
RTT<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
If unavailable, swipe screen to the left then tap the
