Here\x27s how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and\/or limits on your TAB 8 Plus.<\/div><\/div>

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My ɧ»¢ÊÓƵ website<\/a>.

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Connections<\/div><\/span>
Data usage<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Do any of the following:<\/div><\/span>
Turn Data Saver On \/ Off:
Tap
Data Saver<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Use Data Saver switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Change Data Usage Cycle:
Tap
Billing cycle<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Cellular data usage cycle<\/div><\/span>, select the Usage cycle reset date then tap
SET<\/div><\/span>.
Refer to your statement for the bill cycle date.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Set Mobile Data Warning:
A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.<\/div><\/div>
Tap
Billing cycle<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Alert me<\/div><\/span> to turn on.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Data warning<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Enter the preferred warning limit then tap
SET<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Set Mobile Data Limit:
Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi\u002DFi<\/a> or adjust the limit.<\/div><\/div>

Tap
Set data limit<\/div><\/span> to turn on.
If presented with Limiting data usage screen, review the message then tap
OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Tap

Enter the preferred data usage limit then tap
