Use facial recognition on your Galaxy S24 \/ Galaxy S24+ \/ Galaxy S24 Ultra to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.<\/div><\/div>

If synced to a corporate exchange account, the availability of this option depends on the policies of your IT admin.<\/div><\/div>
Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., pattern, PIN or password) is set up<\/a>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Security \x26 privacy<\/div><\/span>
    Lock screen<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Enter the current PIN, pattern or password.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Tap
    Face recognition<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  5. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • For first\u002Dtime setup:
      1. From the Face recognition prompt, review the info then tap
        Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      2. Review the Face registration help info then tap
        Register<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      3. Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete.<\/div><\/li>
      4. Tap the following options to turn on or off:
        • Face unlock<\/div><\/li>
        • Stay on Lock screen until swipe<\/div><\/li>
        • Require open eyes<\/div><\/li>
        • Brighten screen<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
        • To remove face data:
          1. Tap
            Remove face data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
          2. Read the disclaimer then tap
