Connect your moto g play \u002D 2024 to a visible or hidden Wi\u002DFi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.<\/div><\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Network \x26 internet<\/div><\/span>
Wi\u002DFi<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Ensure the Wi\u002DFi switch is turned on then do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
To connect to an available Wi\u002DFi network:
Tap the preferred network.<\/div><\/li>
If prompted, enter the password then tap
Connect<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To manually connect to a Wi\u002DFi network:
Tap
Add network<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
From the Network name SSID field, enter the applicable network name.<\/div><\/li>
From the Security field, tap the

Tap the applicable security option (e.g. Enhanced Open, WEP WPA \/ WPA2\u002D Personal).<\/div><\/li>
If prompted, enter the password into the Password field.<\/div><\/li>
Tap
Advanced options<\/div><\/span>, ensure all additional settings (e.g., Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured as needed then tap
Save<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To remove a Wi\u002DFi connection:
Tap
Saved networks<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Tap the applicable network then tap
