Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your moto g power 5G, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
Ensure a SIM card is inserted<\/a>.<\/div><\/div>
Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can\x27t be used until the correct code is entered.<\/div><\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Security \x26 privacy<\/div><\/span>
    More security settings<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Tap
    SIM card lock<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/span>
    If prompted, review the SIM Lock message then tap
    OK<\/div><\/span> to accept.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  5. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  6. To change your SIM PIN, ensure Lock SIM card switch is turned on then do the following:<\/div><\/span>
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
