Transferring your SIM card or eSIM ensures you keep your existing phone number and service when activating your Samsung BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) smartphone.<\/div><\/div>

Transfer During Initial Setup \u002D QR Code<\/div><\/h2>
  1. From the Easy setup with another device screen, tap
    Galaxy or Android device<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
    A QR code appears on the new device screen. If a verification code appears, refer to the Transfer During Initial Setup \u002D Verification Code section below.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  2. From the source device:<\/div><\/span>
    1. Tap
      Set up<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
    2. Open the QR scanner and scan the QR code from the new device.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    3. Allow for the eSIM to transfer then tap
      Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

      Transfer During Initial Setup \u002D Verification Code<\/div><\/h2>
      1. From the Connect to a mobile network screen, tap
        Transfer SIM from another device<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      2. To proceed, review the info screens until a verification code displays.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      3. From the source device, tap
        Transfer<\/div><\/span> then enter the verification code.<\/div><\/span>
        If a QR code appears, refer to the Transfer During Initial Setup \u002D QR Code section above.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
      4. From the new device, tap the SIM to be used then tap
        Transfer<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      5. From the source device, tap
        Confirm<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      6. Allow for the eSIM to transfer then tap
        Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
      7. Continue setup on your new device.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

        Transfer Using SIM Manager<\/div><\/h2>
        1. Open the
          Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        2. Navigate:
          Connections<\/div><\/span>
          SIM manager<\/div><\/span>
          Add eSIM<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        3. Tap
          Transfer SIM from another device<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        4. To proceed, review the info screens until a verification code displays.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        5. From the source device, tap
          Transfer<\/div><\/span> then enter the verification code.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        6. From the new device, tap the Carrier name (e.g., ɧ»¢ÊÓÆµ) then tap
          Transfer<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        7. From the source device, tap
          Confirm<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
        8. Allow for the eSIM to transfer then tap
          Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
