Turn on the hotspot feature for your TCL 50 XE 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.<\/div><\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Connections<\/div><\/span>
Tethering \x26 Mobile Hotspot<\/div><\/span>
Mobile Hotspot<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Set up Mobile Hotspot<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap any of the following to configure:<\/div><\/span>
Network name<\/div><\/li>
Hide my device<\/div><\/li>
Security (e.g., None, WPA2\u002DPersonal, etc.)<\/div><\/li>
Password
Tap the Password field to remove the existing password then enter the new characters.<\/div><\/div>
The new password must be entered on the connecting device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/li>
Maximum connections (1 user, 7 users, etc.)<\/div><\/li>
Select AP Band (2.4 GHz Band or 5 GHz Band)<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Save<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Timeout settings<\/div><\/span> then select an option (e.g., Never, 40 minutes, etc.).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div>
