Orbic Devices <\/div><\/span> Change Default Mobile Number (Dual SIM Dual Standby)<\/div><\/h1>

If you use two phone numbers on your Orbic phone, changing the default helps ensure calls and messages always originate from your preferred line.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

Only one mobile number can receive calls \/ messages or use cellular data at a time. If two mobile numbers are activated on the Orbic®<\/span> device and one is on an active call, calls to the other number rings through to Voicemail but the incoming call doesn\x27t appear on the screen. After hanging up on the active call, a missed call notification will be visible, as well as a Voicemail \x22new message\x22 indicator if the caller chooses to leave a message.<\/div><\/div>

The primary SIM is the default cellular plan used for calls, text messages and data. Changing the primary SIM causes new calls and messages to be sent from the phone number associated with that SIM and data usage to be billed to that number.<\/div><\/div>

If a line is active on a Second Number price plan (talk and text), do not select the Second Number line for data use.<\/div><\/div>

In order to see the eSIM options, the device must be running the current software version.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Network \x26 internet<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap any active SIM then do any of the following:<\/div><\/span>
Switch Default Voice Line
Tap
Calls preference<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Select the preferred number or tap \x27Ask every time\x27 to be prompted to select the line every call.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Switch Default Data Line
Tap
Data preference<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
Select the preferred number.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
Switch Default Text Message Line
Tap
