Personalizing the Home screen on your Pixel 9 \/ 9 Pro \/ 9 Pro XL makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.<\/div><\/div>

Add Apps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Touch and hold an app.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Drag\u002Dand\u002Ddrop the shortcut onto the preferred Home screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

    Add Widgets<\/div><\/h2>
    1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    2. Tap
      Widgets<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    3. Select a category then touch and hold a widget.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    4. Drag\u002Dand\u002Ddrop the widget onto the preferred Home screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
    5. If applicable, tap more options to activate the widget.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

      Add \/ Remove Folders<\/div><\/h2>
      1. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
        • To add a folder:
          1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Calendar).<\/div><\/li>
          2. Drag\u002Dand\u002Ddrop the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail).<\/div><\/li>
          3. A unnamed folder containing the shortcuts is created; to rename the folder:
            1. Tap the folder.<\/div><\/li>
            2. Tap the
              Title bar<\/div><\/span> at the bottom of the open folder.<\/div><\/li>
            3. Enter a name then tap the
              Checkmark icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
            4. To remove a folder:
              1. Drag the apps out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

                Remove Apps \/ Widgets<\/div><\/h2>
                1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, app, etc.).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
                2. Drag\u002Dand\u002Ddrop the item onto to \x27Remove\x27 at the top of the screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

                  Set Wallpaper<\/div><\/h2>
                  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
                  2. Tap
                    Wallpaper \x26 style<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
                  3. Tap
                    More wallpapers<\/div><\/span> then select the desired wallpaper category from the available folders (e.g., My photos, Landscapes, etc.).<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
                  4. Select an image.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
                  5. Swipe left or right on the Preview screen to review:<\/div><\/span>
                    • Home screen<\/div><\/li>
                    • Lock screen<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
                    • Tap
