Set up fingerprint recognition on your Pixel 9 \/ 9 Pro \/ 9 Pro XL for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.<\/div><\/div>

Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., Pattern, PIN, or password)<\/a> is set up.<\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    ³§±ð³Ù³Ù¾±²Ô²µ²õÌý²¹±è±è<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Navigate:
    Security \x26 privacy<\/div><\/span>
    Device unlock<\/div><\/span>
    Fingerprint<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  4. Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
    • For first\u002Dtime setup:
      1. Review the message then tap
        I agree<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      2. To continue tap
        Start<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
      3. Using onscreen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
        ´Ú¾±²Ô²µ±ð°ù±è°ù¾±²Ô³ÙÌý²õ±ð²Ô²õ´Ç°ù<\/div><\/span> on the screen of your device multiple times to scan your fingerprint.<\/div><\/li>
      4. Tap
        Done<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
      5. Add more fingerprints:
        1. Tap
          Add<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
        2. Using onscreen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
          ´Ú¾±²Ô²µ±ð°ù±è°ù¾±²Ô³ÙÌý²õ±ð²Ô²õ´Ç°ù<\/div><\/span> on the screen of your device multiple times to scan your fingerprint.<\/div><\/li>
        3. Tap

        4. To remove fingerprints:
          1. Tap the
