Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>
iOS 26 has a new feature that includes a Voice Over 5G Standalone toggle (off by default). This is available in select markets and on select devices. More markets and devices are coming soon! Toggling on will not impact device performance.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
  1. Open the
    Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  2. Tap
    Cellular<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
  3. Tap the
    Cellular Data switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on.<\/div><\/span>
    If using an eSIM, Cellular Data is enabled by default on the preferred line (e.g., Primary Secondary, etc.).<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  4. Tap
    Cellular Data Options<\/div><\/span> then tap
    Voice \x26 Data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
    If using Dual SIM, from the SIMs section, select the default eSIM line then tap
    Voice \x26 Data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
  5. Select from the following options:<\/div><\/span>
    When the device is locked or in an idle state then is unlocked, LTE may briefly display.<\/div><\/div>
    • 5G On<\/div><\/li>
    • 5G Auto<\/div><\/li>
    • LTE<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
    • Tap the
