Enabling or disabling Apple Intelligence on your Apple®<\/span> iPhone®<\/span> affects its capability to perform AI\u002Ddriven functions. This is a setting you can change based on your preference for these features.<\/div><\/div>

Apple Intelligence is currently in beta.<\/div><\/div>

The steps below only apply to iPhone 15 or newer running iOS 18.1 or higher.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap
Apple Intelligence \x26 Siri<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
To join Waitlist:
Tap
Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
You’ll be notified when Apple Intelligence is ready for your device.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
For first\u002Dtime setup:
Tap
Turn On Apple Intelligence<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
To continue with setup, follow the onscreen prompts (i.e., Summarize Notifications, Siri, etc.).<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To turn on \/ off:
Tap the
Apple Intelligence switch<\/div><\/span> to turn on or off.<\/div><\/li>
To confirm, tap
