Steps<\/div><\/h2>
Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Security and privacy<\/div><\/span>
Screen lock and biometrics<\/div><\/span>
Face Recognition<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Do one of the following:<\/div><\/span>
For first\u002Dtime setup:
From the Face recognition screen, review the info about Face recognition then tap
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
While holding the phone 8\u002D20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed onscreen until \x27Face registered\x27 displays.<\/div><\/li>
From the Face recognition menu, tap any of the following switch(es) to turn on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Stay on Lock screen until swipe, etc.).<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol> <\/div><\/li>
To remove face data:
From the Face recognition menu, tap
Remove face data<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
