Samsung Galaxy Watch7 <\/div><\/span> Set Up in Standalone Mode for a Child<\/div><\/h1>
Follow these steps to set up your Galaxy Watch7 in Kid Setup for a child using your Android™<\/span> smartphone.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

To set up without restrictions, refer to Set Up with Number Share (Set Up for Myself)<\/a>.<\/div><\/div>
Verify your smartphone has:
OneUI 5.1 or higher installed.<\/div><\/li>
the Bluetooth®<\/span> setting turned on.<\/div><\/li>
a network connection and cellular or Wi\u002DFi is enabled.<\/div><\/li>
the Galaxy Wearable app installed.<\/div><\/li>
the Google account dedicated as the parent account via Family Link.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div>
Ensure the following accounts have been created:
a Google account for yourself and Google Account for your child using Family Link.
Refer to Google For Families Help<\/a> for assistance.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Samsung Family group<\/a>.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div>
To set up with Kid Setup, the companion smartphone must be activated on the same ɧ��Ƶ account as the Galaxy Watch7.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
From the parent phone, open the
Galaxy Wearable app<\/div><\/span> then tap
Start<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If necessary, tap
Galaxy Watch7<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Ensure the passkey matches what\x27s displayed on the Galaxy Watch7 then tap
Confirm<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Set up your Galaxy Watch screen, tap
Set up for a child<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If prompted, allow applicable permissions to continue.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Set up your child\x27s watch with your phone screen, tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If prompted to update watch, tap
Update now<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Get your child\x27s watch set up screen, tap
Let\x27s go<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Select your Google Account screen, tap the Google parent account then tap
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Who will be using this device screen, tap the applicable child account.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To continue, enter the Google parent account password then tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Review the Terms of service, select the desired options then tap
I agree<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Set up parental controls screen, tap
Get started<\/div><\/span> and follow the onscreen prompts to review and complete additional parental control info.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Samsung account and watch settings screen, tap
Onward<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Who\x27s going to use this watch screen, tap the applicable child.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Review the Galaxy Watch Child Privacy Disclosure to Parents then tap
Agree<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Review the agreements and policies, tap (check)
I agree to all (optional)<\/div><\/span> then tap
Continue<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
When the Set an unlock PIN or pattern for your child screen appears, from the watch set up a Pattern or PIN<\/a>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
To continue with setup, follow the onscreen prompts (i.e., Samsung Find, Automatic watch backup, etc.) to customize additional watch features.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Get connected screen, tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Mobile service for your watch screen, tap
Next<\/div><\/span> or tap
Skip<\/div><\/span> to add a cellular plan<\/a> after setup.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
When prompted with Set up a ɧ��Ƶ plan on your child’s watch, tap
Use plan<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Keep your watch and phone close together until you receive an alert that the ɧ��Ƶ plan set up is successful then tap
Next<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
From the Set up Samsung Health screen, tap
