Follow these steps to activate your Galaxy Watch8 \/ Watch8 Classic if you\x27ve recently replaced your watch or have reset the network settings.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

The steps below only apply when a watch has been replaced. If you\x27re pairing an existing watch with a new Android™<\/span> smartphone refer to Switched Paired Phone<\/a>.<\/div><\/div>
The Galaxy Watch8 \/ Watch8 Classic can be set up via Number Share. To set up with Number Share, the companion smartphone must be activated on the same ɧ��Ƶ account as the watch.<\/div><\/div>
Before completing the steps, verify:
your companion Android smartphone has a cellular or Wi\u002DFi connection.<\/div><\/li>
you\x27re in a ɧ��Ƶ coverage area<\/a>.<\/div><\/li>
the Galaxy Wearable app is installed<\/a> and updated<\/a>.<\/div><\/li>
the replacement watch is charged<\/a> and powered on.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>
Open the
Galaxy Wearable app<\/div><\/span> on the companion Android smartphone.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
If possible, back up the data<\/a> on your original Galaxy Watch8.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
All Devices icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Tap the
3\u002Ddot Menu<\/div><\/span> then tap
Remove devices<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Select the applicable watch then tap
Remove<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>

Once removed, the watch must be reset<\/a> before it can paired to another device.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
