Follow these steps to unpair your Galaxy Watch8 \/ Watch8 Classic from your current phone and then pair with a new one.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

If necessary, back up<\/a> the Galaxy Watch8 \/ Watch8 Classic to save your data to the Samsung Cloud.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

From the watch screen, open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span> .<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
General<\/div><\/span>
Transfer watch to new phone<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Review the message then tap the
Checkmark icon<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span>
The watch resets and all data is deleted.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li>
Open the
Galaxy Wearable app<\/div><\/span> on the new companion smartphone.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
