Apps use data differently, sometimes more than you expect. Follow these steps to control which apps on your Galaxy Tab A11+ 5G are allowed to use data in the background.<\/div><\/div>

Before you begin<\/div><\/h2>

Some apps need background data. Restricting data may cause them not to work without a Wi\u002DFi connection<\/a>.<\/div><\/section><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Steps<\/div><\/h2>

Open the
Settings app<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Navigate:
Connections<\/div><\/span>
Data usage<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/span><\/div><\/li>
Do any of the following:<\/div><\/span>
From the Mobile section, tap
Mobile data usage<\/div><\/span>.<\/div><\/li>
To see Wi\u002DFi data usage, tap
Wi\u002DFi data usage<\/div><\/span> in the Wi\u002DFi section.<\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ul><\/div><\/li>
Select an app below the usage graph then view the usage.<\/div><\/span>
To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the
Allow background data usage switch<\/div><\/span> to turn off.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/li><\/div><\/ol><\/div> <\/div>
